    I found it in an old chicken coupe that use to be amish owned on the one side of blade there are 2 notchs that i am not sure if its suppose to be like that or what

      It was a double bit axe but someone sure abused it. Probably discarded after they broke it. Probably chopping a root and hit a rock.
