    Many of us had "Prang" water colors as schoolchildren, few of us thought who made them, or how long they'd been doing so. Turns out they were manufactured by the American Crayon Company, who also made Hygieia Chalk. This particular watercolor tin is from the early 1920s, I suspect the chalk tin is from the 1930s. The display advertisment is from 1912.
