James Adler brooch possibly

Hi there,

I recently came across this beautiful brooch in my late grandma's attic and was hoping someone may be able to enlighten me. It has the maker stamp AJLD the D being smaller than the AJL which has lead me to James Adler - if the internet is correct but that's all I have been able to discover so I am left intrigued.
