Items I bought still doing my home work

I bought a vase because I liked it. i did not know anything about the artist
Emile Galle. i came to a dead end when I found out that he did not do most of his art glass. I read the book Glass of Desire Christian ghost for Galle by Jules S. Trab
I contacted a dealer sent him pictures he said it was fake. I do not know what to believe.

Asian Buddha bought this in Chinatown New York 20 years ago from a dealer who brought me and my daughter to a warehouse that was filled with asian antiquities . Would like to know more about it.
