      I dont know if its 1836 or 1936 ?

      I would say, most likely, 1936. Looks somewhat art deco style to me.

      Def around the 30's and duco was only developed in the 20's. Why would anyone thing 1836 ?

      Also probably quite expensive at the time. Only higher grade furniture had built in dust panels. Try finding that today.
