    Does anyone know what this is? I cannot find anything online that looks like this item. I am assuming it is some kind of kitchen utensil from the 20s or 30s. The metal 'blades' are not sharp. It is not hinged and does not open and close. Short wooden handle. 'Blades' are open in the middle.

      Good guess! Not a Silent Butler...it is open in the middle on both the top and the bottom :(
