    A 1909 Manchester City Police whistle supplied by Mitchell of Manchester and made by J.Hudson&Co. Mitchell of Manchester also supplied the whistles to Manchester City Police with apple shaped cast mouthpieces until the 1910s. This one is a 1909 because it has 'Hudsons Patent. 5727-08 -' on the top cap.
