    My cousin showed me this picture and asked if I knew what any of the objects are, but they're a mystery to me. Will try to get more photos, but if anyone recognises anything, I'd be glad to hear it.

      The one on the left looks like a strike-a-light which would be struck off a piece of flint to make a spark for starting a fire.
      Not sure about the others, the spikes seem to be for hammering into timber. Maybe some kind of door fittings??

      Thanks for that - I've since been told that the pieces were found in a fireplace and it does look like a fire-striker.
