    Just looking for info on this old bear I picked up for $4.00 dollars.

    Thank you for any help you can give, I know nothing about these bears but do collect antiques.

      I have the same, Korea, 1970s, If identical (mine has a label )Lable?) t was rolled tight to the body, maybe you can find one on yours. Salvation Army store had mine in the garbage dumsster!!! Last minute rescue. Something about the face just called "Help" to me. Anyway--mine if not the same--is very, very close!! I still have it.

      What are paws made of hard to tell on photo nor can I tell if it is real mohair but it appears to be . I would say German and maybe 1930-40s from photo . Is it stuffed with straw ? It would be crunchy when you squeeze him . It is very hard to date Teddy bears by a photo and they make reproductions now that look like authentic teddy bears however yours
      is old .

      Thank you Manikin, don't think there's straw inside. The paws are soft, almost like felt.
