My unusual lead stained glass object. Any ideas to its identity

This is an unusual object , their are 6 panels and alternately are the images of a tree and a ship on the panels. It stands 12" tall and the panels each measure 6" X 6". It has 3 hooks inside I which to hang from a ceiling but I don't think these were intended when made , a modern addition I think. So any feedback would be great . Regards Jerry Jago-spires.
