I just purchased a White treadle machine in the cabinet for $50. I want to date the machine so I can find a manual for it. I have it in at a local place to get cleaned up and oiled and "hopefully" in working order. The most recent date on the needle plate of patents is 1913 and the model is FR2832453. If someone could help me date this so I can get a manual I would really appreciate it. This is a Christmas present from my daughter to me and I am so excited!!
Looks like your machine is from 1919. FR stands for Family Rotary. The records were not kept as well as Singers so it is difficult to come up with a model # based on the serial number.
