    This looks like an English pottery's California Mission. it's very well-made, but i've never heard of it. have you?

      Franciscan China, originally of Gladding McBean fame, was sold to Wedgewood in 1979. Shortly after that all production of the remaining Franciscan line was done in England. I don't know the particulars of this piece but it is clearly meant to commemorate Franciscan's California roots. Cool item.
