      The "opal" is actually inkaid abalone/paua shell!
      Your pen is a beauty! Any mark on it and on the nib?

      Thank you so much kyratago...I uploaded 4 additional pictures and didn't know where to look for markings! lol....It looks like: A A Watermen New York with a number 5. Is this pen worth something? Any additional insight would be greatly appreciated...Many thanks!
