    Updated : One of my great uncle's made this before my time. Very heavy duty toolbox. As you can see I still have a few tools I no longer use stored inside. I have a couple more items he made that I'll be posting as well. He was very utilitarian and a lot of his stuff was upcycled from scraps. I'm glad to see that coming back around!

    Adding a pic of the box cleaned up. Looks much better! Thanks for the advice

      Hi Jeremy123,

      Great tool box. The top looks suspiciously like a kitchen cabinet door - but without that hardware.

      I notice some drops of red on the top. Hope it's not your Great Uncle's blood!

      I like this piece better than the "primitive antique" you posted earlier. It has every earmark of a true vintage item. I hope you never get rid of it. It's a real piece of your history. Maybe clean it up a bit, but not too much!

      Thank you Gillian! Lol I think it was painted red originally , or the cabinet door he used was red . Who knows haha
