    I aqcuired this piece from an estate sale a few years back. A friend of my husband said that it was from the Qing dynasty. Is anyone able to tell from the marking if this is real or not?

      The mark says “Da Qing Yongzheng Nian Zhi” which you can google to look for more information. I’m not an expert but these marks don’t always mean the piece is from the time period indicated in the mark. Sometimes it just means it’s a modern piece made in that style. It’s hard to know for sure from photos too. But it’s a pretty nice looking jar! Hope you can find out more :-)
