Can anybody tell me about this clock came across it when clearing dad's house is it worth taking to auction or is it just junk

It's probably neither junk nor worth auctioning at a auction house, but you'll need clear, quality images and will have to open the back up to see if there's a label, manufacturer, or patent date on the inside door or mechanism.
For now, it looks like any other early 1900s mantle clock with strike.
