    This Buddha has me stumped, i have learned that the different poises represent what type of Buddha it is. Although, the hand jesture is normally on the other hand. It is approx, 9" tall. all metal. Picked this up at an estate sale. Didn't pay much. Just hoped i scored. There are no marking on this piece.

      that is strange! you have a left-handed Buddha! hand gestures are called mudras.

      Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara (Guanyin) as indicated by the small Buddha Amitabha in his/her crown. Very contemporary. The mundra is on the wrong hand, but it doesn't really matter.
