Scarce, early book published by The American Tract Society. It is "A Christian Minister's Affection Advice to A Married Couple" by Rev. James Bean. Also includes a letter from Rev. Henry Venn. Published by the American Tract Society, NY, undated, circa 1860s. On the inside front cover is a 5 cent inter. revenue certificate, Also There is a Silk Embroidered piece of material about 30-inches by 3-1/2 inches....that was in the box with the book. It's a Beautiful Flora pattern. Does anyone know what this Material could have Represented????? Silk Embroider in the 1860-ish era, What do you all Think ?????
