I just picked this up at an estate sale today, it is a Shelley teacup and saucer. Very pretty. Still quite dusty- I haven’t cleaned it yet. It has a hand painted couple on it and I cannot find what this pattern is called or any information on eBay or online of a similar one for sale. Any info would be appreciated!

Love the silhouette on the cup:-)

I tried looking up the ceramic registration number, and it dates from the 1930s, and probably relates to the shape only. It would be worth googling the ceramic registration number and see what comes up? I love the cup and saucer, very unusual.

I hope this link will work for Edith Vander from Regina, who I believe painted your cup.....you may need to scroll down until you come to her name:-)

Yes, you will need to scroll down and the name is EDITH VANDERMADE, sorry not just Vander!

Yes you are right, Edith Vandermade had a little shop that she sold her painted teacups in Regina. She started her studio in 1924 so that fits in with the period of the Shelley stamp. Thanks for the help everyone! The cup cleaned up beautifully.
