We bought this trunk from an antique store while in ontonagon michigan. I love the style..inside we found old pearl topped and metal hairpins and 2 diplomas with dates of 1914. and maybe some sort of sash? An ornate piece of fabric. Really neat find, but it is in rough shape..should i have it restored?
Probably a bit before 1884, but what makes you think its a Martin Maier?, greendog.
