Finally added a new piece to the collection! The Kookie Kettle was a popular jar at its' time, given that it's a pretty common piece. Unlike other McCoy jars, this has a wire handle that is very much like those found on actual teakettles. It was introduced in the mid-60's and was made up into the 70's. It will either have a McCoy uSA type 2 or the Mount Clemens with or without uSA (pitcher inside square) mark. You may have seen this one before. The letters varied in thickness during production and seemed to get thinner towards the later part. They were painted in a gold-like paint.
