This doll was given to my daughter as a gift,it is porcelain faced, hands and arms and legs..I thought it was Japanese but I couldn't find any markings..not for sale, but I'm interested in the back story..my wife doesn't want it because it it reminds her of the doll horror movie Annabelle..lol

I adore these kinds of dolls and collect them myself. This one does fall under the umbrella term "Mardi Gras Clown" but you can usually tell the company who made them by the finish on the face and the style that it was painted in. I'm not quite sure who could have made it, but the face does look similar to two unmarked jesters in my own collection.
Hope that this provided some elucidation :3
