Bought long ago when I was a naive but eager collector. Came from an eastern estate sale auction and described as: "Antique parian ware in form of a cornucopia shell with extensive applied fruit/grapes, vines & leaves. Brilliant blue decoration to cornucopia shaft, which tells us it's by BENNINGTON." The shaft seems a bit clunky and the blue haphazardly applied compared to other examples of parian ware. No markings, stands about 4 1/8" high, the blue almost garish. For all that, I found it charmingly ugly. Have always wondered, could it really be a Bennington piece or just an imitation?
