    So this chair has been in my family for at least 100 years.I my self have been moving this anchor around my garage for 30 years.I have looked at 1000's of images on the innerweb but have never found any image or info remotely close.Could someone please identify make year and style if possible... maybe even if its worth being redone. thanks so much

      I would just re-braid the edges and keep it as it was originally made! Lovely old chair! I have two French armchairs which are similar but I could not say if yours Is too! Continue to look after it!

      From the 'style confusion' period late 19th century. Traces of both baroque and rococo. Use it as tv-chair and fall asleep in it.
