    I think this is pretty old. It looks like handbeaten copper, stands about 47cm or 18.5in tall. It is marked on the base but I have no idea how to find out any more details.
    If any one can help shed some light I would appreciate it very much

      Stamp looks to be Middle Eastern/Arabic.

      The handles look riveted to the jug and are oddly placed right at the rim; they look like they would fall over in the way if water was poured. Have you tried it? How much water will it hold? I wonder if a rivet would tear loose under the weight of a jug full of water. Maybe it's more decorative than functional.
