Former owner claimed these were ivory. I suspect bone. Beautifully carved Japanese...I think. In other words I would welcome information on material, origin. Thoughts?

I don't know, I think he may be right, Looks like graining Patterns in it.

Sorry, I only have an IPad with me. No matter what I do 90 percent of the time
it rotates the photo.
