I went through a stage a few years ago of collecting original artwork for Greetings cards. I ended getting a load from a gentleman who had owned / run a card company, and he used to give me and a few other favoured customers, first dibs at his paintings! This is just a small selection of the Christmas paintings. The first picture is by Sheila Pamphilon, the second picture isn't signed, but I love the colours and design. The 3rd picture is by Edward Mooney, and the 4th by Frances Fry, who is probably the most well known artist. All are British artists. I would think they date from the 1980's onwards.

Wonderful Christmas cards, great artwork, I really love the birds under the mushroom and the clothes on the wise men look like Emilio Pucci designs :)
