I’m new to this site, hello! I’m posting a few pictures of a dresser I recently bought second hand. Just wondering if anyone can help me determine any history on my new piece?
The drawers are dovetailed, the casters are wooden wheels, no markings on the dresser, lots of little imperfections, came with these brass looking Victorian pulls.
Forgot to take a picture of the pulls, but you can picture them I’m sure :)
Solid wood and probably 1890s- 1920. Dovetails look to be machined.
The refinish is an odd color on the drawers-- probably had some veneer over the drawers that had damage/ missing pieces and someone decided to strip it all off rather than repair.

Thanks so much, Scott!! There are a few tiny nail holes in the front of the drawers, maybe the veneer issue explains them. Thanks again!
I think scottvez hit this one pretty exactly. Both the dovetails and the casters place this piece 1900, give or take a decade. In my eyes the imperfections give it character.
