I purchased a Model 99 yesterday with the Texas Centennial Badge in an cabinet no. 49. I knew about the Featherweights with this badge, but have only been able to find one other machine (a 201) referenced. Do you know of other 99 with this badge?

Congratulations!!! You have quite a Prize! Yes i have seen another and yes a 201 also. Rest assured however, you have a very rare machine. In our collection we have a 99 from the 1934 Chicago World Fair!

Again, congratulations (and when you tire of it, you know who to contact!)

      Hello,
I’m new to antique singer machines & recently popped into an antique shop looking for a featherweight. Asking for any sewing machines she showed me a 15-91 that she thought was an old converted treadle. I was in a hurry and just snapped photos.
Looked at the photos today and noticed it had a Texas centennial badge.
Have you seen or heard of a 15-91 centennial? It’s cabinet has water damage and from my photos I can see some rust on the Crome wheel and worn electric cord.
Not sure if it’s worth the drive back up to north Texas.
      Any information would be appreciated.
