1947 Fire hydrant Ludlow??

I have this Fire hydrant down in back of our Ice Cream shop!! Dog walk area, It's dated 1947 Traded a antique leather fire helmet for it. It used to be used at firemens musters many year's ago. Has an attachment bolted to it to hook up to a working hydrant. Had a little snow last night!!
