Japanese? Antique? Tea cup? Pottery 3.5” x 2.5” octagon

Vintage or antique Japanese pottery is my guess. I would appreciate any guesses on age etc.
Has two maker or date stamps marks on bottom with a dot of white
Seems to be a sand, tan, yellow, & white clay with gray speckled
Octagonal
