    I don't know what year this came out. Would also like to know if it is work getting fixed or would it be a waste of "time".

      Hello Lamstrong20 and welcome to the Collectorsweekly website/community. I think that your clock may be from the 1930s. See this link: http://uv201.com/Clock_Pages/gibraltar_clocks.htm
      You should have it examined. Although I seldom recommend replacement of original movements with battery powered quartz movements, since it was originally an electric clock, that might be a good, inexpensive and *safe* way to go. We have several plug in antique/vintage clocks in our collection and although they run fine, I never leave them plugged in. That's just me though.
