I have been absent from CW for some time. First I was too busy and then I spent three weeks in Europe. Lastly, I had to recover from a nightmare journey back to Canada because of delayed flights, missed flights, standing in line for about five hours, ending up in the most horrible hotel in Frankfurt, being re-booked on a different flight, being re-booked on the the re-booked flight.... but finally making it back home!
Anyway, here is a recent on-line purchase. This Rafael Canada necklace dates around the 1970's. I am not sure because I was unable to find anything like this one in my Internet searches yet. The seller suggested that it might have been a special order, but I have nothing to back up this statement.
The necklace is a combination of what I believe to be brass and copper.
The size of this piece is massive: 4 inches by 3 inches with a weight of275 grams . It takes some courage to wear it - but I can do it!

Thanks for your lovely comment, Ms.CrystalShip. When a piece is from a loved one, it makes it always more special! I would love to see yours. Are you wearing it? I rarely wear the jewellery from my mom and grandma because I break and misplace a lot of stuff.
