I recently found this beautiful beaded piece at a local flea market. There is a wood piece with a string attached so that it can be hung on a wall. There are cone-shaped metal pieces (tin? magnetic) and larger beads at the top. The main part of it is approx. 18" long and 4-1/2" wide. Beautiful beaded flower designs and beaded fringe at the bottom. On the reverse side, I can see that it was done by hand. The backing is a heavy material that looks like muslin or some type of canvas.

Someone suggested to me that it might be Native American but it looks too "new" to me. Maybe a random talented individual or possibly folk art from a specific country or area. I'd love to hear what you think!
