Hi, Could anyone tell me about this pot/planter? What was it used for? Is it old and why is the dovetail work so sloppy.? Thank you so much for your help. Sincerely, Melissa

Hi melissa8247, I wish I could help with this, but not very sure about Copper, unless it's got some kind of mark to help identify. I have seen pieces similar to yours, that were made in Turkey, or other Middle Eastern Countries, made as Decoration pieces for Tourists, it might help in your search! :^D Thank you for posting! :^)
