    HIGH POWER Vacuum TUBES. 7 1/2 inches high.These would still work , but would not put out rated power the filaments still glow when voltage is applied to them. I may make them into a pair of lamps. With these mounted in the base.

      I'd LOVE to see a few (up to 3 more you can add to this showing) more pics of these things, esp if they'd show (or you'd tell) any more maker's marks, names, numbers, or whatever that might be on them anywhere. A quick look around the googles just now suggests (as does their appearance) that they were probably used in radio transmitter equipment back in their day, which might make them rather uncommon specimens nowadays. PLEASE be careful with them if attempting to "light them up" as if they were lightbulbs -- chances are good that they weren't really ever intended to glow nearly as brightly as any lightbulb would, and trying to make them do so now might be a fast path to destroying them forever... :-(
