I received this wrought iron dining set many years ago from a friend. He said he thought it was from the 1940s. I researched it a little bit and I understand that Salterini and Woodard were big back then for iron glass top patio tables. Apologies... It’s a bit silly, but it’s in storage and I wasn’t able to take the table out to show it in its glory, but I wanted to show one of the legs primarily. And the leaves are not very ornate, just a simple cluster in the middle with a crisscross bar about 7” down from the glass top. Can anybody tell me if this is an original Woodard or Salterini? My understanding is that Salterini produced tables like this in the 30s. Especially with the V point leg. Thanks!!

Hi BashaNova, and welcome to CW! :^D I found a Table that I think is like yours here:

      https://www.loveseat.com/i/salterini-teal-wrought-iron-glass-top-patio-table/

It looks the same as far as I can tell, but all the Salterini Chairs that I saw had pad/feet, on the end of the legs, that splayed away from the center, not round and directly on center, it could be nothing but what I noticed! What do you think about the Table in the link? I'll check on the Woodard, to see if there's a difference!
I hope this helps some, the one in the link, really didn't have a description, other that the name Salterini! :^)

As far as I can tell, yours are probably real Salterini, to me the Woodard are more ornate, and most looked heavier made. Salterini advertised, after WWII, to use this Patio Furniture, inside, and outside to save on buying 2 different sets of Furniture, making it more affordable for the new Family Budget! :^D Thanks for posting, hopefully someone else will know for sure! You might be able to ask the Companies, I think they're both still in business! :^)

Thank you, Bill. My first inclination was that it was Salterini. Good job finding the table with similar legs. The legs of mine are the same. No flared out "feet" like the chairs. The design is different, but the same as in a simple ivy design. On certain sites I have seen Salterini furniture go for lots of money. I want to know when this style was manufactured, however and have been finding it difficult through the interwebs...
