After the fall of the Shah's government in Iran there was a Provisional Islamic Republic that included more moderate members of the former Royal government including Shapour Bahktiar, Mehdi Bazargan, and Abolhassan Sayeed Bani-Sadr - all of whom fled or were liquidated by the radicals in Khomeini's regime as he consolidated power. This Jewish woman left Iran at this time fleeing to Isreal - the provisional over-stamp is what makes this an interesting document as it is uncommon to see, enjoy....
