    Need help with identification. It seems really old but could be just made of old wood. Does anybody recognize the style? Lid opens upward on one side. Sorry about sideways pic. Tried rotating and cropping but goes up same way

      To orient your pictures you need to dump them to a computer, then open and orient them and then save them before they will post properly. Pictures from an android phone I have had to do that twice before they would post properly.

      The pictures ar somewhat of a blur but this is either quite old or built by someone who is very old. Through tenons like this has haven't been used in umpteen years. A look at the inside , hinges etc. would be a help. I would be willing to venture a guess based on these pictures, that it is an antique.
