I wonder how hard you looked in your research? Cardinal games is still in business and will probably be willing to answer any questions you may have. eBay is loaded full of their games old and new because so many were mass produced.
I looked for about a half an hour. I did find that Cardinal games is a company. I tried google, ebay, a collection database and I couldn't find this specific thing.
