Chinese figures

I pick this up at a Flea market for $ 2.00. Know nothing about dont know what really to look for. It is that White chalk material and on bottom says 1936 with someone's name. It looks old by the paint on it, it's a painter painting looks like a head dress need help thanks Bobdirt.
