Babe Ruth & Teammate George Pipgras Fishing Type 1 Snapshot (From Pipgras Estate)

Here we have a Type 1 Snapshot of Babe Ruth and his teammate, George Pipgras on a fishing trip. It looks like they had a great day on the water since they have a whole line of fish that they caught. Babe Ruth and Pipgras also had great hair days (Pipgras is the shirtless man in the bottom left). Pipgras played with the Yankees from 1923-1933, but I would guess this photo was taken around the mid point of that range. This is a slice of the large life of Babe Ruth and shows that he wasn’t just baseball.
