In pretty good condition. Shows a little wear from use. Hinge on glass cover is missing. Have not seen anything like it. Was used in a home in southern Saskatchewan until the mid 1970's. Not in working order. Needs cleaning.

Inspired by temples in Antiquity. The heavy, dark expression points to late 19th century. In Europe you might find many more of this type. I recommend having it cleaned and restored. It might still have many good years in it.
Thank you. My problem is knowing whom to trust in my area. Any suggestions?
Your local auction hous(es) probably sell antique clocks, needing repair, from time to time. They probably know who can be trusted to make a lasting repair.
Thank you!
Did you ever manage to get this restored? I inherited the same one from my great grandparents (also in the Canadian prairies) but it’s missing the key! I’m hoping you possibly have a photo of it?
I have a version of this Sessions clock, except mine does not have a cathedral, just flat on top. Also just inherited from my late father. I have a photo of the key but this format does not allow me to upload it. Wished I could be further helpful.
