PURCHADE DAIRY...MIDDLEBORO MASSACHUSETTS....QUART BABY TOP MILK BOTTLE

Pictured here is a super rare baby top from PURCHADE DAIRY....MIDDLEBORO MASSACHUSETTS. I've posted this in the category...…"SOMETIMES YOU GET THE BEAR,,,,,SOMETIMES THE BEAR GETS YOU". This bottle is listed in the Pecora Dairy ledger as having used baby top milk bottles. Until recently, it's been an example rarely if ever seen. This is the first one I have seen. I aggressively placed a bid in an effort to add it to my collection only to end up being the runner up bidder.

The moral of this post....As collectors, we can't get every known example that exists. We give it our best shot & move on to "another treasure." It's the THRILL OF THE HUNT & the great people you meet/talk with that's important.
