Hand-painted Eggshell Porcelain Japanese Samurai Scene

Found this at an op shop, very delicate/thin and nicely painted. Each plate and cup have a similar but different design. It seems to tell a story. Can not find much about this, period and maker. If anyone has any information that would be much appreciated!
