My father found this in some dirt when a road was being excavated in 1961. He recently asked me to try to find out what is was. She is bronze and about 4 inches tall. Many people have told me it was a hood ornament which led me here. Any wisdom would be great!
I certainly can't say I know for sure, but without it having any sort of 'mounting hole/stud/etc' on its underside I think I'd have to see it more as just a small statuette of some variety instead. Hopefully somebody else will know more -- it is a fun piece anyways! :-)
