I can't tell you where to get help but I had one back in the 1960's when I was in boy scouts. Not positive but I think I got it from an ad in the boys life magazine.
Did you learn any more about this Mount Automatic Control pocket compass? I have the exact same one in its box. It appears to have been made by Sensi in Japan.
