    Have this Japanese sword brought back my a Marine in WW2 can't find any marks on it. the handle and scabbard are wood. Any information will be helpfull.

      would probably be under
      the wooden handle
      On the metal
      if the handle can be removed
      carefully without damaging anything
      Remember I didn’t tell you

      You push out the bamboo/wood wedges and slide the handle off.
