Found in old storeroom. Any ideas?? Fender Top hat? The retired store owner who was 89 years young never had a clue where it came from. Store closed in 1980 and was demolished in 2018.

Your mention of the name "Fender" made me naturally think of guitars/etc made (and played by) that now famous firm. (and the many musical legends over the years). A momentary google-pics look just now seems to suggest that the "F" is at least similar to the font they used for their branding, but the top hat part means nothing to me.
