Greetings. I am hoping to gather information on this old creel that my dad has had in his garage for some time. I did not see any indicators of the manufacturer or date. There were some flies and other fly fishing gear inside of it, so it definitely appears to have been used as more than a decoration at some time. My dad does not really remember where he picked it up.
If anyone can give me some information, or even just a ballpark on the age, that would be helpful! Thanks in advance!
I forgot to add: My dad does not fish. He just likes to collect old things. He likely picked this up from a yard sale or auction somewhere on the East Coast, but has no recollection exactly when and where.
Unknown maker. Your was well-used and repaired in the back. Here's another. The Flies look to be hand tied.
